I had a dream where I was looking at the mirror but every time I blinked, I changed into different people I knew. Like friends, family members, etc. I smashed the mirror but instead of it stopping, each piece of the mirror broken, was a different person as me. I was them In the reflection. I run out of the bathroom and as I rundown the hallway of my school, I was glitching between houses, sidewalks, stores, etc. I fall into a hole and it spiralled. I hear screams of fun and scare. I hear laughing and all I see are hands pointing at me. I see faces of people I dont know and everything freezes. I fall into a place of the school hallways and it ends there.
Dreams involving mirrors often symbolize self-reflection, identity, and the ways we perceive ourselves. In your dream, the act of looking into a mirror and seeing different people every time you blink suggests a struggle with your own identity or sense of self. You may be feeling fragmented or influenced by the people around you—friends, family, or societal expectations. The diversity of faces could represent different aspects of your personality or roles you feel pressured to play in your waking life.
Smashed mirrors typically symbolize a desire to break free from these influences and perhaps a frustration with how you see yourself in relation to others. Instead of finding clarity, the broken pieces reflecting multiple identities indicates that you may be feeling more confused about who you truly are.
The glitching movement through various environments, such as houses and stores, suggests a sense of instability in your life or feelings of being overwhelmed by choices and directions you might take. Falling into a hole can symbolize a fear of losing control or a plunge into the unknown, where you might feel vulnerable, scared, or exposed.
Hearing laughter and screams can be a representation of conflicting emotions—joy mixed with fear. The hands pointing at you may indicate feelings of judgment or criticism, whether from yourself or perceived from others.
The experience ending in the school's hallways can signify a return to a place of learning or development, reflecting a desire to gain insight or understanding about your challenges and identity issues as you navigate through life.
Overall, this dream may suggest a need to explore your self-identity, confront fears about how others perceive you, and seek clarity about your own individuality amidst various influences in your life. It could be beneficial to take time for self-reflection, perhaps considering journaling or discussing your feelings with someone close to you.
